Position Overview:

The Sales Order Coordinator at Gasser Chair plays a key role in managing and coordinating customer orders from entry to delivery. This role ensures all customer specifications are accurately captured and communicated. The role will act as a central point of contact for orderrelated inquiries and will proactively support both internal teams and external customers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Order Entry: Accurately enter and maintain sales orders in the ERP system based on customer purchase orders and specifications.
  2. Order Review: Verify order details such as product specifications pricing shipping instructions and lead times.
  3. Coordination: Liaise with the Production Engineering and Shipping teams to ensure orders are processed and delivered according to customer requirements.
  4. Communication: Provide timely updates to sales representatives and customers regarding order status changes or delays.
  5. Issue Resolution: Proactively address and resolve order discrepancies shipping issues or production delays in collaboration with internal departments.
  6. Documentation: Maintain organized records of sales orders confirmations change orders and delivery documentation.
  7. Process Improvement: Support the continuous improvement of order management processes and documentation practices.
  8. Reporting: Generate and review order tracking reports and metrics as requested by leadership.
  9. Sales Support: Assist the Gaming and Hospitality Sales teams with administrative tasks related to quotes order history or custom request
  10. CrossTraining: Collaborate with peers across departments and provide backup support for other orderrelated or customer service tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Associates degree or higher in Business Sales or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience in a sales support or order management role.
  2. Prior experience in order management customer service or sales support in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  3. Strong working knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
  4. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  6. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  7. Customerfocused mindset with a proactive approach to problemsolving.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and Outlook.

Physical Requirements:

The Sales Order Coordinator at Gasser Chair is expected to perform job duties in a professional office environment. The role requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods use a computer and telephone regularly and occasionally move throughout the manufacturing plant. Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. may be required for handling files or samples. Occasional travel between plants or customer sites may be necessary.
