Fleet Maintenance Assistant (Part Time)
Join our team at East River Electric Power Cooperative! We are seeking a parttime Fleet Maintenance Assistant to join our fleet operations team. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that all Cooperative vehicles and equipment are impeccably cleaned and maintained both inside and out. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and the ability to work collaboratively. This is a parttime position working 1520 hours per week for the upcoming summer (May to midAugust).
What Youll Accomplish
- Clean and detail vehicles including washing waxing and vacuuming.
- Ensure all vehicles and equipment are properly stocked with necessary supplies such as fuel oil and windshield washer fluid.
- Inspect vehicles and equipment for cleanliness and functionality.
- Assist with minor vehicle/equipment repairs and services.
- Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs to the fleet maintenance technicians.
- Collaborate with experienced team members to learn techniques and best practices for fleet maintenance.
- Keep accurate records of work performed.
- Participate in safety meetings and comply with all safety procedures.

- Previous experience in vehicle or equipment detailing (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver highquality work
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks in a team environment
Position Details
- Hourly pay rate is $15.00 to $20.00 depending on experience
- Parttime position working 15 to 20 hours per week
- Desired start date is midMay but will depend on candidate availability
