Collins Engineers Inc. is looking for a selfmotivatedComputer Support Specialistto join ourChicago Illinoisoffice.The Computer Support Specialist is responsible for the technical aspect of troubleshooting a computer for problems and finding the quickest and most effective solutions to fix them.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoots hardware software and network problems.
- Maintains and monitors a list of support cases.
- Prepares documentation and guides for various solutions and products.
- Trains employees in the use of certain software.
- Images configures and tests computers.
- Distributes equipment and software to branch offices.
- Performs data and archiving and destruction.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
- Associates degree in computer science or a related degree.
- Two years experience installing computer hardware and software troubleshooting technical computer problems providing technical support for computer users in a professional setting and training users in using basic software packages.
- Must have experience with the following software: Microsoft Suite and Microsoft Windows.
- Previous experience with the following is a plus: Microsoft Windows Server Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager Microsoft Intune PowerShell ISE and PostgreSQL.
