Job Description
- Work with groups of up to 20 students through curriculumguided engineering and/or robotics activities;
- Support lunch and recess as needed.
- Support student behavior in the classroom by doing 1:1 checkins and enforcing rules and procedures;
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of Snapology;
- Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies;
- Checkin with Owner/Program Director as needed.
Hours: Hours will vary based on scheduling needs but will likely either be 8:45AM3:45PM or 10AM2PM. Applicants for this position are required to be available for the full week. Programs run from July 7th through August 15th. While it is preferred that candidates are available for the full 6 weeks week by week employment will be considered.
Training: If selected for this role an allday training (which includes your First Aid and CPR certification if needed) will take place on June 7th in our North Chelmsford office.
Pay: Teaching Assistants start at $20/hour
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children in a tutoring camp childcare or enrichment position
- Positive energetic personality
- Interest and willingness to work with children ages 612 throughout the summer
- Reliable: Ontime and consistent attendance is required.
