Description of First Steps Program
The Mathnasium First Steps program for PreK and K students teaches the foundational skills and concepts of math through a fun and interactive experience.
First Steps Instructor Job Description
Mathnasium of Chicago West Loop is looking an enthusiastic individual who is able to engage with and adapt to the needs of young children while teaching our First Steps program. We serve our students yearround so this is an opportunity for regular parttime work. Our instructors love math and communicate that love to their students through excellent instruction eyetoeye contact and big smiles!
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrates a passion for early childhood education
- Is a patient and nurturing educator
- Exhibits highenergy enthusiasm and patience
- Possesses positive behavior management skills
All applicants will be required to provide work authorization and pass a background check.
Compensation: $15.00 $20.00 per hour
Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing LLC (Mathnasium). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center the franchisee will be your employer not Mathnasium.
