Essential Job Duties
- Manage a caseload of individuals providing comprehensive services holistic behavioral techniques and interventions that will improve the individuals adaptive functioning in major life areas
- Provide direct behavioral educational services to individuals using a variety of evidencedbased psychoeducational techniques
- Be on call 24 hours a day seven days a week to respond to crises
- Works with individuals oneonone or in groups using applied behavior modification techniques
- Records and manages the individual educational and behavioral data and participates in the evaluation assessing needs and planning goals for the individuals
- Participates in team meetings and staff training as required
- Provide the appropriate documentation weekly
- Connect the family to wraparound services as needed including but not limited to; health services recreational activities childcare services financial resources employment resources transportation resources support groups and other therapeutic services
- Utilizes the Clinical Supervisor or BCBA as an initial point of contact to strengthen their effectiveness in providing behavioral interventions to the individual
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related Human Service field
- Registered Behavior Technician or BCAT certification (in good standing)
- Basic knowledge of BACB guidelines
- Basic knowledge of Government and Commercial payer guidelines
- First Aid/CPR Certified
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Professional demeanor
- Knowledge of acceptable social work and interpersonal behavior
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or other developmental and intellectual disabilities
- A Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related Human Service field
