This position supports the Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) Supply Chain Commodities and Services team in Huntsville AL.
Position Responsibilities:
- Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements
- Supports sourcing strategies negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
- Partnering w/ Program and Engineering teammates to provide the best sourcing solution for our programs
- Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
- Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance
- The candidate must possess strong business acumen communication and problem solving skills. Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders is required
- Supports the sourcing strategies negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
- Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities
- Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook PowerPoint Excel and Word
- Experience in performing data analysis
- Experience working in fast paced environment with strict deadlines
- Experience working both independently and in team environments
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
- Bachelors Degree or higher
- 1 years of experience interacting with customers or suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposals
- 1 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
- Excellent written/ verbal communication and interpersonal skills with strong sense of customer service
- 1 years of commercial off the shelf procurement experience
- 1 years of experience working with crossfunctional teams
