Job Description:
Essential Functions:
- Experience withnetwork engineering experience with IP networks.
- Ability to implement solutions that support customer visions and objectives.
- Ability to evaluate technologies and designs in relation to the critical infrastructure and service needs for external customers.
- Ability to successfully participate in interprogram initiatives and discussions to resolve technical challenges
- Experience in configuring & hardening of routers switches and firewalls.
- Create and maintain documentation and training for engineering and NOC teams
- Experience with leading network vendors such as Palo Alto Cisco Juniper.
- In depth implementation and troubleshooting experience of IP networks.
- Knowledge of IP technologies such as NetFlow TCP and UDP signaling ISIS OSPFv2 OSPFv3 iBGP eBGP MPLS Layer 3 VPNs Pseudo wire and EXU messaging.
- Proficient in switching routing QoS tunneling concepts android 5G networks IoT LTE NTN
- Ability to design develop and troubleshoot L2TP implementations
- Define and implement best practices for network and capacity management.
- Identify areas of opportunity for automation and network optimization.
- Routinely perform proof of concepts and service trials while documenting system integration.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to include preparation/presentation of material to senior leadership and customers
- Demonstrated ability to work and grow in a dynamic fast paced teamoriented environment
- Experience in security hardening and maintenance in accordance with NIST RMF
- Travel as required for deployment integration and test efforts (up to 25
- Ability to work individually or as part of a cybersecurity team

Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelors Degree and minimum 9years of prior relevant experience or
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 6years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree minimum of 14years of prior related experience.
- TS//SCI security clearance required
- DOD 8140 IAT3 or IASAE2 certification
- CCNP or equivalent vendor certification
- Demonstrated ability to work and grow in a dynamic fast paced teamoriented environment
- Ability to travel up to 25
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience implementing and managing carrier grade network and network technologies such as Carrier Ethernet technologies
- Experience in configuring pfSense in an enterprise environment
- Ability to plan implement verify and troubleshoot local and widearea enterprise networks
- Strong enterprise network troubleshooting (Multicast Layer 2 Cisco IOS(s) IP routing BGP ISIS OSPF and EIGRP HSRP and physical layer issues (Ethernet Optical TDM)
- Experience with Agile development processes
- Cloud (AWS) hosting experience
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role is $119500 $222500.
