JOB VACANCY
Teaching in a nonprofit City of Madison Accredited Child Care Center
Red Caboose Child Care Center is in our brandnew spacious home and we are ready to open new classrooms! Come and join our amazing team to provide highquality care and education for children. We are specifically hiring for teachers to open a new one year old room a twoyearold room a mixed age group and an infant room!

Responsibilities
- This person must provide direct care for children; plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities designed to meet the socialemotional cognitive creative and physical needs of children in a particular program; work together with other staff; communicate with parents; and provide a warm and safe environment for children to grow and learn.
- Must be able to treat each child and their families with respect dignity and caring; and be supportive of cultural differences special needs and different family structures.
- The teacher reports to and is responsible to the Team Lead; and is supervised and evaluated by the Team Lead.
- Must be available to work varying shifts in any classroom in the center Monday through Friday
- Also paid 2 hours of Planning and Meeting Time
Current Openings for current and future classrooms: We are looking for teachers in our infant 2yearold 3yearold mixedage groups and fouryearold classrooms. We are also looking for float teachers and teachers in our schoolage programs!
Start Date: Fall 2024 positions are open until filled
Job Type: Full and Parttime positions are available
Salary: $17.65$19.45 based on education and experience

Experience training and other requirements:
- Education Must meet State Licensing requirements for teacher 3 credits in child development or 80 hours child care specific classes); prefer Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or AA/BS in Child Development preschool education or related field
- Experience Must meet State Licensing requirements for Teacher; prefer at least one year experiencewith toddler children.
- Skills demonstrate flexibility ageappropriate problem solving organizational interpersonal and communication skills. Request Job Description for full requirements and skills needed.
