Job Description

DIVISION:

U.S. AutoForce

POSITION SUMMARY

Oversee and supervise a work group to meet department goals.
Schedule: MonFri rotating Saturdays. Shift start time pending on business needs between 4am and 6am

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides leadership to assigned personnel through effective goal setting performance reviews delegation and measurable feedback suggestions for improved performance and recognition for achievements.
Conducts interviews hiring and training as necessary.
Supports the safety programs to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory a safe working environment for all associates.
Assists with process improvement initiatives.
Conducts regular meetings to ensure that personnel are well informed of policies and procedures. Continually enforces productivity standards.
Ensure excellent customer service and communication
Receiving:
Check in product completely and accurately
Stock products correctly
Loading:
Pick product for daily deliveries along with special deliveries
Load trucks using good judgment regarding use of space and product safety
Returns:
Inspect and physically count returned merchandise
Restock inventory in appropriate place
Outbound freight of vender returns
Paperwork for all warranty product
Unloading of customer/inventory transfers from corporate warehouses
Operate power equipment including forklift
May work as a backup driver as assigned or directed

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl; talk hear taste and/or smell; the employee must occasionally lift products weighing up to approximately 80 pounds. Handling of tires (e.g. rolling destacking team lifting) greater than approximately 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots safety vest harness seatbelt SRL (selfretracting lifeline). All equipment is provided by U.S. AutoForce except for steel / composite toe boots.
  • Work environment: While performing the duties of this job the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Fumes associated with tires and occasionally car parts and lubricants prevalent.

QUALIFICATIONS
