Key job responsibilities
As a key driver in designing solutions and upleveling the quality of our customer experiences you will:
Bring forward innovative ideas and solutions and raise the bar on customers experience with delivery
Effectively advocate and design for the customer through objective data such as market analysis customer insights technical constraints/opportunities and business insights
Partner closely with business and development teams to plan and balance immediate changes with longterm scalable solutions
Quickly and thoroughly creating user flows wire frames visual designs and prototypes to effectively concept and communicate detailed interaction behaviors that support decision making and development
Assess and optimize the effectiveness of new and existing features by proactively planning performing and advocating validation techniques like usability testing user research and interpreting analytic data.
Present design work to UX partners crossdisciplinary teams and executive leaders

Have an available online portfolio
Experience defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standards
Experience with best practices for Product and Experience Design (including User Interfaces Information Architecture and Interaction Design)
Experience in endtoend design projects from design strategy through
Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and product design
Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma Photoshop Illustrator HTML or similar
Experience designing customer facing retail products
Experience acquiring user data (e.g. conducting usability studies performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps
Experience presenting to and effectively advising partners within and outside of design
Experience identifying and informing data needs to communicate strategic and tactical recommendations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
