Minimum Qualifications:
- Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (Client will require certification #
- Bachelors or postgraduate degree in engineering computer science or a related field.
- 10 years as a Red Hat System Administrator.
- 10 years of experience administering Unix (AIX) IBM pSeries systems.
- 15 years of Information Technology experience.
Experience with:
- Working in a complex networked system environment with strong networking
- Administering Unix (AIX) IBM pSeries systems
- Administering systems including but not limited to the applications below:
- Oracle WebLogic Servers
- Oracle Database Servers
- Progress 4GL/Database Servers/OpenEdge
- Apache Web Servers
- vSphere hosted RHEL Servers.
- Rubrik backup systems.
- Oracle Database backups.
- PeopleSoft
- Mobius
- Elastic Search
- Oracle OBI
- CVS (Concurrent Version System)
- Red Hat performance tuning
- Load balancing partitioning backup/recovery and disaster recovery
- Working in an environment that requires 24/7 system availability
- Application development
- Red Hat Support
- Electronic Imaging Support
- Work in a team environment.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external personnel.
- Demonstrate leadership skills.
- Interface with users and helpdesk for daytoday support.
- Provide Backup/recovery and networking methodologies.
- Troubleshoot at the Operating System (OS) database and application levels.
