Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the team to efficiently execute the production plan to ensure on time delivery to the customer
- Use blueprints sketches or descriptions to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts
- Utilize precision measuring tools such as; micrometers calipers dial indicator height stand and pin gauges
- Assemble disassemble and clean die components
- Set up and operate lathe and surface grinder to machine parts to conform with part specification
- Examine dies tools jigs and fixtures for defects
- Change over single hit and progressive dies according to drawing
- Support team to meet all goals
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school graduate or equivalent is preferred.
- Must be able to work overtime including Saturdays as needed.
- Must be able to liftup to 30 lbs. and both stand and /or sit for long periods of time.
- Must be able to add and subtract decimals and fractions and read engineering prints and measuring instruments.
- Required to plan and perform a sequence of operations where general methods are available.
- Must be able to meet qualifications / requirements of lower pay classifications.
- Work safely to prevent injury to self and others.
- Must be able to perform all the essential functions of the job with reasonable accommodation as specified by the ADA.
