You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Patient Transporter provides patient transport services between USC VHH Imaging Department and patient care areas associated with USC Verdugo Hills Hospital. The Patient Transporter may also move equipment and supplies throughout the Imaging Departments and patient care areas as well as directing visitors and guests throughout the hospital. Applies good verbal and nonverbal skills to achieve service goals of patient satisfaction and a positive work environment.
Minimum Education:
High School or equivalent
Minimum Skills:
Knowledge of Medical terminology
Previous experience with computer systems
Must have excellent communication skills including the ability to speak read and write English proficiently
Organization/time management skills
Required Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
Preferred Experience:
1 year Patient Transporter or Nursing Assistant

The hourly rate range for this position is $21.00 to $27.00. When extending an offer of employment the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position the candidates work experience education/training key skills internal peer equity federal state and local laws contractual stipulations grant funding as well as external market and organizational considerations.
