Help create the future of Video Shopping with Amazon!
Its an exciting time to be on the Amazon Shopping Videos team. We have millions of videos that help millions of customers shop every day. These include product demos customer reviews buying guides and howto guides that are created by influencers sellers brands manufacturers vendors and customers. How do we choose the right videos to show to the right customers at the right time to help them make the right shopping decision Thats where you come in.
Key job responsibilities
* Use statistical and machine learning techniques to create scalable solutions for video analysis and content moderation problems
* Analyze and extract information from large amounts of videos to help moderate and optimize search across videos
* Work closely with software engineering teams to drive realtime model implementations and create new product features
* Establish scalable efficient automated processes for large scale data analyses model development model validation and model implementation
* Demonstrated ability to drive adoption of best practices across organizations.
* Proven track record of delivering productionready code with superior user experience.
3 years of building models for business application experience
PhD or Masters degree and 4 years of CS CE ML or related field experience
Experience programming in Java C Python or related language
Experience in any of the following areas: algorithms and data structures parsing numerical optimization data mining parallel and distributed computing highperformance computing
Experience using Unix/Linux
Experience in professional software development

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
