Job Description

POSITION CONTINGENT ON AWARD/FUNDING

REQUIRES AN EXISTING/ACTIVE TS/SCI WITH CI POLYGRAPH NO REMOTE WORK MUST WORK ON SITE

HighLevel Description: The Systems Engineer is responsible for the design implementation and management of Microsoft SQL Server databases to support enterpriselevel applications.

Detailed Description: The Systems Engineer will oversee the architecture deployment and maintenance of SQL Server databases within the DIAs IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities include performance tuning disaster recovery planning and ensuring database security. This role involves collaboration with application teams to optimize database operations and align with missioncritical requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.

Minimum 8 years of experience in database management with 4 years specializing in Microsoft SQL Server.

Certification in Microsoft SQL Server or related database technologies preferred.

Expertise in database optimization backup and recovery.

Knowledge of IC security standards and RMF compliance.
