Job Purpose:
To properly perform and ensure that all powdercoating related activities are completed in accordance with the quality standards set forth by Life Fitness in order to meet or exceed all customer expectations.
Essential Job Functions:
- Strong knowledge in Powder Coater I essential job functions in addition to:
- To work with other Powder Coater line operators with minimal supervision to coordinate with coating staff to maintain the daily schedule.
- Complete all necessary coating line production documents such as work orders PIDs and traveler documents.
- Setup maintain and troubleshoot all manual and computerized coating related equipment.
- Using established methods and testing equipment inspect all coated parts for defects in materials and craftsmanship.
- Be proactive in establishing better more efficient methods of completing daily workload.
- Effectively train others on technical powdercoating skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned including prep load and unload duties.
Qualifications and Skills Needed:
Required
- Ability to use power tools
- Good eye for detail
- Ability to paint all colors on all paint lines
Preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Working Conditions:
Will be working near moving equipment. Will also involve lifting up to 35 lbs. frequently up to 50 lbs. occasionally with assistance reaching and repetitive motion. Work area is noisy at times.

Your base wage will be between $21.00 $25.50 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime. The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications experience location and other relevant factors. Youll have the opportunity to participate in the Production Bonus Plan which provides opportunities to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics.
