Location: Thousand Oaks Area Elementary Schools
Schedule: Must be available Monday Friday 2:00 PM 6 pm No weekends!
Pay & Benefits:
- $22$25/hour (pay is based on education and experience).

Heres what youll need: Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications for an Afterschool Expanded Learning Specialist I (AELS I) pursuant to the policies of the District.
- High school diploma or an equivalent with an Associates degree being desirable (A degree in an area of Education highly desirable).
- Experience in a licensed childcare facility.
- Valid California Class C Drivers License.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
- Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations
As an AlphaBEST Group Leader youll be trained to do the following:
- Lead a group of students through exciting adventures in fitness the arts technology and more!
- Work collaboratively with peers to ignite childrens sense of wonder.
- Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students interests and talents.
- Provide a caring familyoriented environment where positive staff child and parent relationships are fostered.
