Job Description

Low patient ratios!

The Behavioral Health Unit Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing directing and coordinating patient care and procedures within a small 12bed unit in a manner that is efficient empathetic timely and tailored to the age of patients served (ages 45 and up). The Behavioral Health Nurse will provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families and will contribute to the treatment team fostering a supportive and healing environment for the patients being served.

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; current Basic Life

Support; BS in Nursing preferred.

LICENSES: Current Registered Nurse License in New York State
