Salary Information
Compensation plans are based on a multistep progression system. The pay range reflects the entry level and maximum salary potential in the assigned pay grade.
**A starting salary may be negotiated and will be commensurate with education training and experience in alignment with pay administration policies**

Nature of Work
The fundamental reason this position existsis to learn and perform basic entrylevel technical work involving theinstallation and maintenance of County ITrelated systems and equipmentinvolving three general categories:
1 Systems software and applications (SW).
2 Network hardware and infrastructure (HW).
3 Telecommunications systems and equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
Network/Infrastructure:Must have an Associates Degree in Computer Science (or a related field)OR at least two 2 years of experience in technologyincluding computer maintenance/ support networking server administration installing maintenance and servicing oftelecommunications equipment structured cabling and fiber optics andinfrastructure Qualifiedexperience may substitute for the required education.
NOTE: Qualifying education training and experiencethat provide the requisite knowledge skills and abilities to perform the jobwill be considered.
Special Requirements
We are looking for a highly motivated energetic selfstarter who isopen to learning growing and are willing to train and teach selfstarters who are inquisitive andpassionate about information technology. There are complexities associated withour work but engineers and specialists will work beside you as team members toalways complete the mission. Must be willing to work nights or weekends asrequired. Must be able to work from homeusing assigned IT equipment when oncall and must carry and respond to a cellphone. Must have a valid drivers will be required to submit to a thorough backgroundinvestigation prior to employment.
