EXCELSIOR DEFENSE
LOCATION: HIGH SPRINGS AREA
Pay rate: $17.25 $19 and $20hr DEPENDS ON LOCATION
Excelsior Defense Inc is looking for an Armed Security Officers on an armed security post. Must be organized have a keen eye for detail trustworthy and able to manage time effectively. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions and maintain access control into the property. This is a very interactive position dealing with the public and is an outdoor assignment working in the elements.
- Observe and Report
- Maintaining daily records
- Conducting patrols
- Assisting the security manager
- Physical fitness to work outdoors
- A willingness to help people and conservation efforts
- Ensuring the safety of visitors
- Enforcing rules and regulations
- Providing information to park visitors
- Protecting patrons and park property
- Patrolling campgrounds swimming areas cabins trails and park buildings
Skills Required:
- Proven work experience as an armed security officer or relevant position
- Valid Class D Security License & Valid Class G Security License active with the State of Florida
- VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
- Ability to operate twoway radios and emergency equipment
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation
- Integrity and professionalism
- Detailed Report writing
