Job Description

Viterbo Universitys College of Engineering Letters and Sciences invites applications for adjunct faculty positions starting Fall 2025 to teach in one or both of the Master of Science programs: Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. The primary teaching assignment will be matched to the candidates licensure and professional experience. Courses meet facetoface for classroom instruction.

Applicants must meet the minimum educational requirements listed in order to be considered for the pool of qualified candidates. All decisions are made upon the discretion of the department. Applicants who meet the minimum requirements are not automatically accepted to teach at Viterbo University.

Qualifications: Applicants must be a Licensed Professional Counselor with at least 2 years of clinical experience and are required to hold a masters degree from a CACREPaccredited program. Applicants are expected to use university email Office 365 and the online student learning platform Moodle.

Applicants should upload a cover letter indicating the area of discipline along with a current vita. If recommended for a position official transcripts and a background check will be required prior to the issuance of a contract.
