Reporting to the Field Service Manager as aField Service Engineeryou are the eyes and ears of Videojet when providing service and support through customer interactions.
We are a closeknit team across many locations. With an officebased technical support team our Field Service Engineers are never on their own.
This position is located in Springfield MO and the surrounding areas and will be remote.

In this role a typical day will look like:
- Provide ongoing care and support for our customers equipment
- Install our products and solutions at customer locations
- Diagnose and resolve challenges and problems
- Become a trusted advisor and partner for our customers to develop excellent relationships.
- Extend our Videojet footprint in the market by promoting our service agreements and newer technology.
- 100 travel within a 2hour radius. There will occasionally be overnight travel. (initial training requires consecutive weeks in Wood Dale including weekends)
To be successful in this role you will:
- Problemsolve using available resources and creative solutions to resolve customer issues and will know when to ask for help
- Partner with customers to assess their needs manage their expectations and drive results
- Proactively listen to customers anticipate their needs follow through and work towards a mutually agreeable solution
- Collaborate with teammates managers and customers
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Up to two years of technical experience and/or customer facing roles
Willingness to travel 100 of the time to customer facilities.
Associates/Technical degree preferred or a combination of education and experience.
Experience repairing troubleshooting and diagnosing different kinds of equipment.Electrical and mechanical experience is preferred.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record required.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associates position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance shift travel requirements sales or revenuebased metrics any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $26.00 $28.00 USD per job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
