Adjunct Faculty Position: College Algebra I
The Mathematics Department at Covenant College invites applications for an adjunct professor to teach College Algebra I (first course of a twosemester stretch sequence in college algebra) in Fall 2025.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach an undergraduate course on college algebra in the context of a Christian perspective
Plan lessons and assignments grade assignments respond to student inquiries submit grades
Support retention efforts through early identification of students who are struggling offering students needed academic support and providing positive encouragement
Qualifications:
Commitment to the mission of Covenant College
Completion of at least 18 hours of graduate mathematics courses from an accredited institution is required. An M.S. in mathematics from an accredited institution is preferred.
Expertise in the subject area
Teaching experience preferred
