The Position
Operator Mine SupportJob Summary
Key tasks and Responsibilities:
Lead by example in all safety and environmental processes ensuring complete safe practices.
Operate Mine equipment to assigned locations as assigned by the mine supervisor in a safe and productive manner.
Must be able to read write and possess basic math and science skills to complete daily reporting requirements.
Must possess the ability to work unsupervised and wherever needed to assure the success of Imerys Mining.
Operators may be required to perform routine maintenance (i.e. fueling and lube).
Operators may occasionally be required to assist the mechanic with repairs.
Capable of learning all operations manual safety rules and company procedures for all equipment listed above.
Demonstrate a complete walkaround inspection and verbally communicate mechanical problems in detail to mine maintenance.
Follow all MSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Job Requirements:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
25 years experience in the safe productive operations of sers bulldozers or similar equipment.
Mechanical experience/training is a plus.
Current possession of Drivers License w/CDL Tanker endorsement.
