Job Description
Fusion HCR is looking for an experienced Network Engineerto support a propertywide Aruba switch replacement projectacross an enterprise environment. This is a handson technical role focused on upgrading outdated network hardware with new Aruba switches ensuring optimal performance minimal downtime and seamless integration across the network.

The project involves the endtoend replacement of aging switches across an entire property or campus environment. The engineer will assist with planning staging deployment and cutover processes for Aruba switchesensuring high availability and minimal service disruption during all phases of .

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning staging and implementation of Aruba switch replacements across the property.
- Perform physical installations configurations and testing of new Aruba switches.
- Decommission legacy switching hardware and migrate configurations as needed.
- Coordinate switch cutovers with operations and technology teams to minimize business impact.
- Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity performance or configuration issues during the migration.
- Update network documentation including topology maps port assignments and configuration logs.
- Ensure adherence to change control security and compliance requirements throughout the project.
- Collaborate closely with infrastructure cabling and desktop support teams during installations.
- 5 yearsof experience in network engineering or infrastructure support ideally in largescale environments.
- Strong handson experience with Aruba switches(CX series preferred).
- Solid understanding of Layer 2 networking VLANs trunking port security and switch stacking.
- Experience managing hardware upgrades and largescale deployments.
- Familiarity with Switchboard network monitoring tools (SolarWinds Airwave) or similar platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting skills especially in live production environments.
- Ability to interpret network diagrams and implement based on technical specifications.
- Experience working in regulated environments (PCI SOX MICS) is a plus.
- Must be eligible to obtain Nevada Gaming Control Board Registration(if applicable).
