Advertising Excellence is a comprehensive collection of tools support and guardrails to: 1 Ensure that advertisers campaigns are compliant with our policies and specifications at the time of submission. 2 Allow advertisers to quickly diagnose and repair content postrejection. 3 Create an environment where advertisers are motivated to develop policycompliant content.
Were looking for outstanding candidates to join us as fulltime Software Development Engineers. You will work as part of an agile team to help drive automation of ad moderation quality and content checks world wide. As an engineer you will be involved in the full software development lifecycle from idea generation to delivery and operation. As we grow this team you will have a sense of true ownership of our technology and partnership with other teams as we build systems which meet high standards of performance and reliability and operate at scale.
Successful candidates are not just great coders they are engineers who can delight customers through innovation have excellent communication and collaboration skills and are motivated to build lasting full stack technologies using the latest systems like AWS Lambda and DynamoDB. About the team
Advertising is one of the fastest growing businesses at Amazon and that growth generates challenges in managing huge volumes of advertising submissions while maintaining a high customer experience and working at the speed that advertisers demand. As part of the Advertising Trust team you will have high visibility across Amazon business lines helping to establish the right customer and advertiser experiences and longterm strategy for the success of Amazon Advertising. We are a global and diverse team with a long tenure in online advertising and expertise in developing customer/advertiser experience solutions for highly sensitive and restricted categories of advertising.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
This is a full stack position and we are looking for a developer with backend and experience with common frontend technologies such as HTML CSS JS TypeScript and Node
Decompose a problem into clear system API and UX design actions.
Passion for operational excellence
3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
