Job Description
Mater is seeking two enthusiastic qualified General Medicine Physiciansto provide services at our Mater Hospital in Mackay.
Whether you are an individual or group looking for a readymade practice or guaranteed work in a regional location we would love to hear from you.
Mater has opportunities for both new and experienced General Physicians that include employment supported and independent private practice models. Mater is an iconic health service the largest of its kind in Australia. There is tremendous demand for General Physicians in this centre and Mater is here to support you to be successful.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Specialist General Medicine Physician
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (RACP).
- Demonstrated experience and commitment relevant to General Medicine and evidence of competence in skills relevant to a regional hospital practice would be welcome.
- Excellent communication and liaison skills fostering positive and productive working relationships between team members and with other disciplines
