Job Title:
Filter Service Technician
Job Summary:
The Filter Technician is responsible for changing HVAC filters at a large client site. The technician will need to be able to take direction from their supervisor and the client as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will pick up parts and other equipment from parts warehouse as needed and requested.
- Assist in the replacement of filters throughout the clients campus.
- Communicate with your supervisor for any issues or challenges that arise from filter replacement.
- Will perform other duties as assigned or requested by your supervisor.
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Trade/Technical School certification or degree helpful. Candidates must possess good communication interpersonal and organizational skills to ensure effective teamwork and customer be able to climb ladders lift and carry 50 or more pounds distinguish colors for electrical work use hand tools and tolerate confined spaces. Work will involve heights and seasonal temperature use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is required while performing tasks.
Valid Drivers License and Universal Refrigerant Certification.
Language Skills
Must possess good communication skills (verbal and written).
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Mathematical Skills
Must possess basic math skills. Ability to perform these basic operations using units of American money and weight measurement and volume.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complex written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands
Must be able to climb ladders lift and carry 50 or more pounds distinguish colors for electrical work use hand tools and tolerate confined spaces. Work will involve heights and seasonal temperature extremes.
