Children and Young Persons Manager (CYP)
Nuffield Health Cambridge Hospital Nursing Permanent Full time
Up to 50000 per annum depending on experience
37.5 hours per week participate in the oncall rota

Asa Manager for theChildren and Young Personsservice you will:
Play a vital role in the childs journey through the hospital.
Be a trusted guide and support to them as well as to their parents or guardians.
Deliver high quality clinically effective care as an essential part of our ward team.
Work with a wide variety of cases which will broaden your skills. You will also work within different specialist areas.
Be accountable for the operational and clinical management of the CYP service.
Work collaboratively with consultants and a range of stakeholders to drive and develop the CYP service.
Lead and manage a team of specialist nurses to deliver a bespoke service for our patients.
Promote innovation within the service to be responsive to service user needs.
To succeed as a Children and Young Persons Manager you will:
Be NMC qualified and haveextensivepost registration experience in a childrens ward setting.
Have various levels of postregistration experience and ideally EPALS ILS or ALS skillsor willingness to undertake further study.
Experience in Childrens nursing with Adult nursing as an advantage.
Experience of clinical leadership.
Can work well individually and as part of a team.
Can engage and build relationships with external stakeholders.
