Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Science in STEM field from an accredited college or university OR 5 years prior experience as SATCOM planner operator and/or engineer
- Experience in SATCOM engineering development operations testing or training
- Knowledge of EHF user community mission planning apportionment/allocation resource monitoring and terminal control desired
- Knowledge and application of Mission Planning Element/Subsystem (MPE/MPSS) desired
- Experience with EHF terminal operations desired (e.g. SMARTT NMT etc. desired
- Experience in software analysis modeling and simulation a plus (e.g. SQL MATLAB STK Scripting etc.
- Comfortably and effectively speak in front of large groups
- Independently conduct formal and informal training presentations
- Work effectively as a team member receiving and providing support inputs and direction
- Strong communication skills and team collaboration required
- Limited domestic and international travel is required.
- Must be able to support rotating 24/7 oncall responsibilities and occasional onsite surge to support nonstandard work schedules.
- Active US Top Secret security clearance and ability to obtain SCI eligibility is required.
