Position Details:
Occupational Therapist Fulltime 40 hrs/week MondayFriday
NonExempt Hourly
Benefited position coverage eligibility will begin 1st of the month following date of hire.
Position Summary:
Evaluates selects performs and/or directs assistance in educational vocational and recreational activities designed to restore maximum function to physically and/or mentally disabled patients upon physicians referral. Works with family and health team members regarding patients abilities and goals.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor of Science or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from a college or university accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Eligible for license or current license from the State of Oregon. Current valid Oregon drivers license required. Current CPR certification required.
Experience:
Desired but not required.
Job Knowledge:
Must have a current knowledge of Occupational Therapy as related to physical disability and rehabilitation procedures general medicine surgical and mental health concepts. Understands the principles of team approach and recognizes capabilities and limitations of other team members. Must possess a positive attitude and utilize excellent communication skills. Effective team skills including interaction support and respect are required.
Skills:
Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents completing forms opening and sending email messages

Successful completion of 500hour probationary period.
