Amazon Global Logistics is seeking an exceptional Senior Data Scientist to support pricing science for our imports business. This role will recommend design and deliver new pricing science innovations collaborating closely with our larger science community technology data and product teams.

A day in the life As a Senior Data Scientist you will play a pivotal role in driving pricing science innovations for Amazons imports business. Your day will involve working closely with teams across the organization to understand business challenges explore data and develop cuttingedge solutions. You will leverage your expertise in data analysis machine learning and pricing strategies to uncover insights and drive impactful decisions. Masters degree in a quantitative field such as statistics mathematics data science business analytics economics finance engineering or computer science or Bachelors degree and 8 years of professional or military experience 5 years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL) scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R SAS Matlab etc. experience 4 years of data scientist or similar role involving data extraction analysis statistical modeling and communication experience Experience with statistical models e.g. multinomial logistic regression
