Job Description

Title: Licensed Physical Therapist

Employment Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday through Friday

Position Responsibilities:

In this position youll be responsible for evaluating new patients developing plans of care and setting measurable functional goals. Youll treat patients address their concerns and provide education on injuries and conditions progress to reaching desired goals and probable outcomes. Additionally youll monitor patient response to treatment and intervention modifying as necessary to meet the needs of the patient and attain goals in accordance with treatment plans and physician orders. In this role youll be able to consult directly with treating physicians and cultivate effective relationships with referral providers. Youll be responsible for documenting patient evaluation reevaluations daily progress reports treatments and discharges of services in a timely manner accurately recording billable services. ORA holds all of our staff members accountable for providing high level care maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations. As a member of our Physical Therapy team youll provide physical therapy services to patients in accordance with PT guidelines for professional practices and per ORA clinical policies and standards.

Requirements:

This position requires a Bachelors Masters or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy as well as a current unencumbered and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Iowa and/or Illinois. We would prefer previous outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience however new graduates are always welcome. A successful candidate will have knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements as well as the ability to identify and implement components of physical therapy processes. This candidate must have excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively and accurately.
