Job Description
SCREENPRINT OPERATOR:
BRINGING ART GARMENTS TO LIFE.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Under the direction of the Screenprint Supervisor and Trainer this position is responsible for processing screenprint orders through preparing garments applying inks through use of screenprint press and making quality adjustments as necessary. This position will lead the Unloader and provide first steps in quality control. The operator is responsible for changing screens and setting up/cleaning ink for specific orders and operating the screenprint press to produce the best tshirts in the biz. The operator will help verify garment quality and ink design to achieve company standards and will wow our customers by meeting department and company goals.

A Typical Day (job functions) Unload Operate Analyze Verify Repeat
- Access order specifications through computer programs
- Maintain Lakeshirts acceptable standard of quality per garment
- Keep work area clean
- Organize workflow
- Follows safety practices. Identifies problems and works to resolve safety issues as they occur in accordance to OSHA standards
- Teamwork
- Other duties as assigned
SCREENPRINT:
- Unload shirts from platen
- Analyze orders to identify design and determine ink colors
- Verify quality of clothing and ink design or thread/fabric color
- Change screens and ink for specific orders
Operator Skills (qualifications) SelfMotivated DetailOriented TEAM Player
- High school education desirable.
- Positive attitude & selfmotivated
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Detail oriented and self motivated
- Must be reliable responsible and take direction well.
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks for several hours.
- Ability to be stand for 810 hours a day.
- Previous production preferred but not required.
- Tablet computer Microsoft Word Doc and Excel experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

Occasionally: Balance Lift and Carry up to 50lbs.
Frequently: Lift Carry Push Pull Bend Twist Reach above shoulder height
Continuously: Stand Walk Lift or Carry under 10lbs. Reach at or below shoulder height
