Process Contamination Control Technicians are responsible for monitoring maintenance calibration and solving of instrumentation and systems applied to ensure the integrity of cleanroom UPW systems key bulk chemical delivery systems fab ambient process tool and FOUP environments. This includes the utilization of standard principles theories concepts and techniques for cleanroom design airflow dynamics filtration AMC ESD ionization particle counter analytical testing methods and the calibration and maintenance of related instrumentation while partnering with shift MDE Ops Facilities Gas/Chemical technicians engineers and leaders to reduce impact to production.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Sample collection including swabbing various areas of the cleanroom to test for contaminants
  • Provide effective & proficient responses to restore equipment to service as soon as possible in the event of a system failure.
  • Maintain records on maintenance testing and calibrations of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to climb ladders and work with arms raised above the head.
  • Ability to lift 25 40 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
  • Ability to perform tasks while bending crouching or kneeling.
  • Ability to report to the site as scheduled.
  • Ability to see and respond to potentially dangerous situations.
  • Ability to wear personal protective gear.
  • Ability to work with various gases and chemicals used for production processes and maintenance.
  • Handeye coordination and ability to operate specialized tools for equipment maintenance
  • Light assembly with handheld tools weighing less than 3 lbs.
  • Ability to work 12hour shifts with sustained sitting or standing.
  • Walking 1 to 6 miles per shift).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Twoyear industry related associate degree; working towards a STEM related degree; orequivalent military training and experience.
  • Knowledge of chemistry statistics and algebraic related concepts.
  • Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office suite and the ability to learn new industry specific systems/programs.
  • Strong time management organization and prioritization skills.
  • Strong problemsolving skills with a high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing lab or cleanroom setting.
  • 2 years of experience with sample collection and analytical testing.
  • 2 years of experience calibrating lab/clean room devices and equipment.
