The Role:

As an Account Executive within the North American Bank Sales Team you will target an assigned list of banks and NBFIs selling Bottomlines portfolio of Commercial Banking Solutions.

Success will depend on three key capabilities. First a deep understanding of Bottomlines commercial banking solutions and how they enable Financial Institutions to acquire and grow customers and with that deposits and income. Second you must have the skillset and experience of leading large strategic sales pursuits following a disciplined sales process rooted in best practices and evolving selling processes. Finally you must have a strong understanding of the benefits and competitive advantages of Bottomlines solutions and collaborate with internal Bottomline and prospective client stakeholders to develop a business case that supports making a change and an investment in Bottomlines recommended solution set and capabilities.

How youll contribute:

  • Develops and maintains a detailed territory plan and executes accordingly.
  • Develops a pipeline of new opportunities while closing existing opportunities
  • Develop individual account strategies to penetrate targeted accounts effectively.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of each targeted accounts business including issues pain points strategies and opportunities.
  • Identifies and creates business needs with senior executive decisionmakers at targeted accounts.
  • Creates communicates & demonstrates the value of Bottomlines solution with prospects.
  • Build relationships at all levels within client organizations while demonstrating the solution set.
  • Effectively coordinates crossfunctional teams to represent compelling value to prospects.
  • Negotiates contracts to a successful conclusion on time and as forecasted.
  • Updates Salesforce/CRM in a timely accurate and complete manner

If you have the attributes skills and experience listed below we want to hear from you:

  • 6 to 8 years experience selling to banks and financial institutions previous experience selling payment solutions preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in high value (TCV of $3M) long cycle 1224 months) strategic selling to Business Decision Makers and IT Leaders
  • Strong time management skills able to maintain an elevated level of productivity manage multiple competing priorities and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fastpaced complex collaborative and teamoriented environment.
  • Proven consultative solution selling skills including the ability to articulate a clear concise return on investment value statement.
  • Ability to position long term strategic solutions vs the competition.
  • Excellent organizational ability able to coordinate across multiple internal stakeholders including Product Delivery and Legal etc.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with a strong business acumen
  • Highly effective communicator in written and verbal formats
  • Proven experience with consistent quota achievement in highly competitive highvalue sales
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
