As the Chief Robotics Engineering Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering departments technical direction and ensuring the successful of projects. You will lead a team of different development disciplines providing structure guidance and support to achieve the companys strategic goals. Your role will involve collaborating with crossfunctional teams managing resources and ensuring the highest standards of engineering excellence.
Your Impact:
- Lead and manage the robotics development team advancing a culture of innovation collaboration delivery and continuous improvement.
- Advance the team to adhere to the engineering strategies principles processes and procedures to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Ensure the team adheres to the ASI Product Development Process (PDP) and passage of all gate reviews.
- Maintain compliance with budgets resource management and milestone deliveries.
- Oversee the design development and testing of engineering solutions ensuring they meet quality safety and performance standards.
- Perform internal development reviews and gates Example: Concept Detailed and Final Designs to ensure the requirements and project performance metrics are met.
- Collaborate with other departments including product management operations and manufacturing to align engineering efforts with business objectives.
- Manage engineering budgets resources and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the robotics engineering team resolving complex technical issues and challenges.
- Promote requirementsdriven designs ensuring that all engineering solutions are aligned with customer needs and business goals.
- Facilitate the alignment of verification and validation processes with the specified requirements.
- Stay up to date with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations standards and certifications.
- Mentor and develop engineering talent promoting professional growth and career development within the team.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Robotics or a related field.
5 years of proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role.
5 years of experience leading engineering teams.
Strong technical background with expertise in engineering principles practices and methodologies.
Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities with a focus on delivering highquality engineering solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
Experience managing engineering budgets resources and timelines.
Knowledge of relevant regulations standards and certifications.
Commitment to continuous improvement and staying current with industry trends and best practices.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience as a Chief Engineer or similar.
Experience working in Robotics Automation or a similar field.
Masters Degree.
