Position Wage: Hourly rate dependent on experience. Starting at $20.34 per hour 13 shift differential included).

Job Description:
The Finishing Operator is responsible for performing several critical peripheral supportoperations on both the front & back end of heat treat processing. In order to prepare parts forprocessing the finishing operator performs nocarb masking lot ID etching & load makeup. Afterheat treatment the finishing operator performs blast cleaning operations as well as final packaging.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
- Mask parts with nocarb masking paints to the carburization/hardening process indesignated areas as specified by product prints and/or provided visual guides
- Set up furnace loads by counting out specific quantities of parts per provided orderinstructions
- Etch parts with order information in designated areas to provide heat treat lot may be performed before or after heat treat processing depending on specification.
- Place parts into heat treat alloy fixtures & prepare loads for running in furnace ensuringthat load count & part configuration is correct prior to loading
- Assist in breaking down furnace loads after processing
- Perform final cleaning operations using either spinner/hanger tumble or table blastequipment as required by order instructions
- Perform final counts on orders as parts are cleaned & packaged verifying any associatedpart ID markings (lot# heat code part# etc. to ensure that order quantities match thecustomer PO requirements
- Place parts back in customer packaging according to customer specifications
- Inspect all parts as they are handled for any types of damage this is performed on both thefront & back end of processing
- Advanced operators of this position will assist in final inspection functions at the request ofshift supervisors
- Ensure plant organization & cleanliness
Minimum Requirements:
All hires are contingent upon a 9panel hair follicle drug test & background check.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Acquire/maintain forklift certification
Experience: Prior factory work preferred
