What youll be doing
Youll be joining CIBCs Regulatory Technology Client Data Services Team. Youll be at the heart of CIBCs digital transformation successfully delivering complex enterprisescale application development projects involving multiple backend a Full Stack Developer youll assemble implement and maintain easy flexible and personalized solutions that enhance the client lead the planning and strategy for the technical design development and integration of these applications.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role.Youll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where youll spend 12 day per week onsite while other days will be remote.
How youll succeed
- Design and development Perform and coordinate complicated application programming activities. Design the applications technical infrastructure using specific databases programming languages utilities and testing the design and development of costeffective and innovative solutions.
- Strategic planning Develop multiyear technology roadmaps that align with the banks vision strategy and business goals. Lead multiple complicated projects involving backend systems new technology and the enhancement of existing applications.
- Leadership skills Act as an application developer and run codereview sessions with the wider team to ensure the project is on track to meet goals. Support peer developers by sharing knowledge collaborating and problem solving.
Who you are
- You can demonstrate experience with at least 3 years of C# / .Net development with Test Driven Development experience (TDD ATDD or BDD). Ideally you have experience with: .NET C# SQL Server PowerShell MVC XML Json .Net Core Microservices RESTful API and Unit Testing.
- Its an asset if: You have knowledge of React Agile Azure development Elastic search and SOLID design principles.
- You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science SW Engineering/or related programming degree/diploma.
- You embrace and champion change. Youll continuously evolve your thinking and the way you work in order to deliver your best.
- Youre digitally savvy. You seek out innovative solutions and embrace evolving technologies. You can easily adapt to new tools and trends.
