This is an exciting opportunity to support the NGA Foundational Military Intelligence mission. In this mission we support multiple NGA offices in fulfilling their responsibility for producing Foundational Military Intelligence Baseline reports in an effort to bolster office level requirements. These reports are the foundation of target knowledge and play a critical role in NGA building actionable intelligence for the Warfighter and Intelligence community.

Primary Responsibilities

  • The candidate will work directly with team members and must be able to create research evaluate analyze and fuse data from multiple sources and datasets to produce current and finished geospatial intelligence products.
  • The Imagery Analyst will prepare geospatial products to an established NGA production standard. In this position the analyst will also assist in the development and documentation of imagery analysis procedures and maintenance of products.

Basic Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI
  • HS Diploma and at least 3 years of relevant imagery analysis experience.
  • Preferred candidates should have completed Formal/Advanced Military IA Training (Tech School Advanced Individual Training A School or other MOS/AFSC/Rate granting equivalent) and/or 3 years of proven IC geospatial report writing.
  • Ability to produce dynamic GEOINT products to NGA standard.
  • Strong knowledge of soft copy exploitation and multispectral exploitation functionalities.
  • Strong knowledge of the following systems and software programs: REMOTEVIEW IEC NES and common office software to include PowerPoint presentations spreadsheets and word processing.
  • Ability to incorporate multiple data sources.
  • Strong time management skills

Preferred Additional Skills

  • Knowledge of best practices for data standards data management data quality
  • Working knowledge of other geospatial software tools (e.g. ArcSDE Stereo Analyst SOCET Set MS Office Suite etc.
  • Knowledgeable of multispectral imagery exploitation
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to sit for extended periods up to 80 of the time; frequently required to move about to access file cabinets and use office equipment such as PC copier fax telephone cell phone etc.
  • Occasionally required to reach overhead bend and lift objects of up to 10 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include use of computer monitor screens up to 80 of time.
