Accountant Part time
This role is based in Munich with 20h working hours per week
Tasks
Accounts Payable:
- Process and manage all accounts payable invoices using accounting software/tools
- Execute supplier payments in a timely and accurate manner
- Perform regular bank reconciliations
- Maintain and monitor the Accounts Payable ageing report
- Track and book company credit card expenses
General Ledger:
- Prepare monthend accruals
- Post journal entries and perform general ledger account reconciliations
Additional Responsibilities:
- Manage travel expense tool (Bizaway)
- Assist with general administrative tasks within the finance team
- Support the monthend close process
Requirements
- Degree in Finance or Accounting (Bachelors or Masters)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting preferably in a serviceoriented environment
- Solid understanding of German GAAP (HGB); IFRS knowledge is a plus
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP SAP B1
- Familiarity with German tax regulations especially VAT
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Detailoriented with a handson attitude and strong organizational skills
- Able to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
- Fluency in English required; German is a plus
