Job Description

Overview
The Sales Officer (Home Loans) plays a critical role in driving revenue and expanding the customer base for our home loan products. This position is pivotal within the organization as it directly interacts with potential clients understanding their financial needs and guiding them in selecting the suitable home loan options. The Sales Officer is often the first point of contact for customers and is responsible for fostering strong relationships that lead to customer loyalty. With a focus on meeting sales targets and delivering exceptional service the Sales Officer must stay informed about the latest market trends and product offerings. Additionally this role requires collaboration with various internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial inquiry to loan disbursement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and generate new leads through various channels.
  • Conduct detailed consultations with customers to assess their financial needs.
  • Present home loan products clearly and persuasively to potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Develop sales strategies to reach monthly and annual targets.
  • Prepare and present loan proposals to clients.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitors products.
  • Guide customers through the loan application process.
  • Coordinate with credit and underwriting teams for loan approvals.
  • Manage customer queries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Follow up with customers throughout the loan lifecycle for service delivery.
  • Organize seminars and outreach programs to educate potential clients.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Prepare detailed reports on sales activities and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams for promotional campaigns.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Finance or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales preferably in home loans or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage products and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Analytical skills to interpret financial information.
  • Familiarity with sales tracking software and CRM systems.
  • Time management skills to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Customer service orientation with a solutionfocused approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
  • Strong negotiation skills to close deals efficiently.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and networking events.
  • Ability to adapt to fastpaced and changing environments.
  • Certifications related to mortgage lending are a plus.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of local housing market trends and regulations.
