Job Description
RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.
We are hiring a Basic Grade Medical Scientist Haematology(FTC) into our Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Help with the creation upkeep and enforcement of protocols about every section of the lab and the associated testing apparatus.
- Help apply and execute operational procedures in accordance with "best practice" standards to maximize resource utilization.
- Help in the establishment of a patientcentered quality management program that tracks and evaluates client satisfaction and performance.
- As decided by the laboratory manager and chief medical scientist conduct scientific activity in accordance with the necessary JCI Accreditation Standards.
- If you work in a laboratory discipline that has been accredited by INAB you must comply with the E.U. Directive on Blood and Blood Products as well as the standards of INAB Accreditation.
- Set priorities plan your workload during peak hours and oversee several concurrent tests.
- If necessary take part in the departments "on call" schedule.
Requirements
- Be a member of the Academy of Medical Laboratory Science (AMLS) or its equivalent or be eligible to join.
- Signing up with CORU
- A minimum of one year of inservice training in every field.
- A background in haematology is necessary.
- Experience after qualification.
- Participated in emergency oncall schedules.
