Job Description

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.


We are hiring Senior House Officer (SHO) to our Leading Hospitals in DublinIreland

SHO Vacancies as follows:

  • Oncology
  • Medicine
  • Surgery
  • Cardiology
  • Orthopaedics
  • Rotator

    Responsibilities
  • Assess review and document findings for patients as directed by the attending Consultant and/or Nursing Staff.
  • Order investigations such as radiography blood tests and function tests as directed by the consultant in accordance with the management plan.
  • Prescribe for patients as advised by the consultant.
  • Participate in ward rounds.
  • Finish the discharge process with an electronic discharge letter and prescription.
  • To assist in the education of colleagues medical students and staff.
  • Respond to any bad events that patients visitors or staff may experience such as injuries falls or sudden illnesses.
  • Participate in quality improvement and risk management efforts wherever possible.
  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures such as blood safety and infection control.
  • Comply with Health and Safety Regulations to ensure safe working practices and a safe workplace.
  • Support Interns on threemonth rotations at the hospital.
  • Meet with the specialtyspecific intern on a regular basis to discuss the interns learning needs.
  • Act as a mentor to the intern on the team and guide them in terms of professional development appropriate for their stage of training.




Requirements

  • Medical degree (MBBS or similar).
  • Current Irish Medical Council (IMC) registration.
  • To work in an Irish private hospital you must be eligible for the relevant employment visa.
  • Requirements for this position include experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Current BLS certification.
