Job Description

This is a remote position.

Role Name: Bookkeeper

Schedule: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 10am to 7pm CST

Client Timezone: Central Time (Dallas/Fort Worth based)


Join a rapidly growing multistate hospitality group managing entertainment venues and sports bars where youll play a crucial role in their financial operations. This position offers the opportunity to work with complex multientity accounting structures and highvolume transactions across multiple locations. Youll be part of modernizing and streamlining financial processes while working with a dynamic team. This role offers growth potential as the organization continues its expansion across new markets and concepts.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform bank reconciliations across multiple business entities and accounts

  • Monitor and reconcile ATM accounts across multiple locations

  • Audit and verify daily sales reports and cash deposits

  • Track and reconcile intercompany transactions between real estate and operating entities

  • Support monthend close processes

  • Verify and document cash variances and discrepancies

  • Assist with financial reporting and compliance documentation

Scope:

  • Initial focus on bank reconciliations and ATM account management

  • Potential to expand into additional areas including payroll processing tax return support and inventory management

  • Remote position working with USbased management team

  • Access to multiple financial systems and bank portals

  • Collaborative work with existing accounting team members


Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of US accounting principles and practices

  • Experience with Sage 50 (formerly Peachtree) accounting software

  • Proven experience with multientity accounting structures

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling numerical data

  • Experience with highvolume transaction reconciliation

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Proficiency in English
