Job Description
Overview:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and clientfocused Cyber Security Consultant to deliver highimpact cyber advisory and risk management services. This role involves assessing cyber risk designing security strategies and supporting transformation projects across a range of industries. You ll work directly with clients or internal stakeholders to build secure resilient environments in line with regulatory and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement:Deliver expert cyber advice across areas such as risk management governance compliance security operations and transformation initiatives.
- Security Assessments & Strategy:Conduct cyber maturity assessments gap analysis threat modelling and help develop security roadmaps aligned with frameworks like NIST ISO 27001 and CIS.
- Risk Management:Identify evaluate and help mitigate cyber risks across business processes technologies and thirdparty ecosystems.
- Security Governance & Compliance:Support the implementation of cyber governance frameworks and compliance with standards/regulations (e.g. GDPR DORA ISO 27001 PCIDSS).
- Programme Delivery:Contribute to or lead the delivery of cyber transformation workstreams including technical controls security awareness and operational improvements.
- Stakeholder Engagement:Build relationships with technical and nontechnical stakeholders. Translate complex cyber topics into businessrelevant language.
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in cyber security consulting advisory or a handson security role with consulting exposure.
Strong understanding of security governance enterprise risk and regulatory landscapes.
Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001 NIST CSF CIS Controls COBIT or SOC 2.
Ability to assess and recommend improvements in areas such as network security cloud security (AWS Azure GCP) identity and access management and incident response.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to deliver to both technical teams and senior leadership.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Cyber Security Information Security Computer Science or related field.
Relevant industry certifications: CISSP CISM CISA CRISC ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or equivalent.
Cloud security or technical certifications (e.g. AWS Security Specialty Azure SC100 CompTIA Security) are an advantage.
Requirements
Proven work experience as a cyber security professional. Sales Coordinator or any other similar role. Hands-on experience with any CRM tools. Experience in managing complex solutions. Organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication skills with a problem-solving attitude. Degree level or relevant experience.
