Job Description

A Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) uses ultrasound imaging to perform noninvasive vascular exams assessing the condition of a patients arteries and veins to help physicians diagnose vascular diseases like blood clots or blockages by taking detailed images and providing preliminary interpretations of the results all while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.


Qualifications :

1.    High School diploma or equivalent
2.    Completion of an accredited vascular sonography program required
3.    Certification from the ARDMS required
4.    Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and interpreting vascular anatomy 
5.    Strong patient interaction skills ability to take thorough patient history and understanding of vascular pathology
