Job Description

Are you an experienced female support worker based in or near Daylesford VIC

Can you work regular shifts from 8:00am12:00pm and Sleepover shift from 6:00pm11:00am daily

About the role:

We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable female Support Worker to assist a client living in Daylesford. This role involves both personal care and behavioural support requiring someone who can work independently and respond confidently to a variety of situations.

These are regular daily split shifts in the morning and Sleepover from 8:00am12:00pm and 6:00pm11:00am daily. Youll be supporting the client with daytoday tasks encouraging independence while ensuring safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing dressing and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Help clients with mobility and transportation needs
  • Administer medication and monitor health conditions
  • Assist with meal preparation and household tasks
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best possible care for clients
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Qualification in Health/Aged Care/Disability Services (required).
  • Minimum of 1year fulltime experience in Australia within Health/Aged Care/Disability Service
  • Licenses & Certifications
  • Qualification in Health/Aged Care/Disability Services (required).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check ID or ability to obtain one (required).
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate or ability to obtain one (required).
  • Current Drivers License own car and comprehensive/thirdparty insurance (required).
  • We are committed to child safety. This role requires compliance with child safety policies and completion of preemployment checks including Working With Children Checks.
