Job Description

The Head of Sales for TelisoV is responsible for leading the sales strategy and for AbbVies anticipated product launch within NSCLC. Reporting directly to the General Manager this role demands a dynamic leader who can harness data analytics and market insights to drive sales performance. The Head of Sales will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and optimal across all sales initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Set a compelling leadership tone and direction to motivate and inspire a team of Account Executives and Strategic Account Managers to relentlessly execute on a launch strategy that maximizes impact for patients
  • Market Expertise: Exhibit deep market knowledge including an understanding of diagnostic and payer dynamics. Provide both quantitative and qualitative business analysis to inform decisionmaking.
  • Financial Stewardship: Maximize the impact of a promotional budget ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Collaborative Alignment: Partner closely with the integrated brand team (IBT) to ensure a unified and focused approach across marketing and sales while also collaborating with other fieldbased teams to enhance infield effectiveness.
  • Team Development: Inspire lead and develop highperforming sales teams fostering a culture of excellence consistent with AbbVies Talent Philosophy and Ways of Working. Provide coaching and support to develop top talent and maintain a highperformance team.
  • Strategic DecisionMaking: Leverage deep oncology and sales expertise to make highquality strategic decisions that drive both patient outcomes and AbbVies success.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Effectively influence and align internal and external stakeholders ensuring commitment and buyin at all levels. Leverage relationships and knowledge to achieve results.
  • Cultural Leadership: Consistently model OneAbbVie and AbbVie Ways of Working behaviors creating and sustaining a positive highenergy sales environment.

Qualifications :

  • Education: Bachelors Degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 10 years in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry with oncology experience preferred.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5 years leading large sales teams and/or other people leaders.
  • CrossFunctional Expertise: Experience working in various functional areas such as marketing sales market access or medical affairs.
  • Sales Proficiency: Deep understanding of sales principles including field force optimization customer segmentation account management and incentive design.
  • Business Acumen: Superior business planning skills and a thorough understanding of market dynamics.
  • Leadership Presence: Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence without authority and drive crossfunctional collaboration at all organizational levels.
  • Strategic Thinker: High level of critical thinking and strategic mindset.
  • Culture Architect: Skilled in creating and sustaining a positive highenergy work environment where the best ideas are heard and implemented.
  • Inclusive Leadership: Exceptional ability to build trust and confidence quickly with diverse stakeholder groups by demonstrating humility and humanity.

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

  • We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation holidays sick) medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.

  • This job is eligible to participate in our shortterm incentive programs.
